Brisbane Home Show 2023
Britt Furlanis really wanted to take Bronze Betty to the Brisbane Home Show in September 2023.
Her reasoning was that Bronze Betty operated fully online and it would be great to get out there and interact with our customers in person. So Nathan, Britt and the team set off to attend our first home show. We quickly discovered there is a lot more to a home show than bringing some products. It really works if you take people who can stand on their feet 10 hours a day speaking to hundreds of people and being great with them (some people can be having a bad day).
It was such an incredible experience, we had thousands of people walk past our stand, hundreds stop and look in our store and over 200 enter our daily prize draw of a Crab Claw Bottle Opener - we gave away 3 of them.
We bought along our 1m Crocodile Skull for people to touch and feel and many people gasped, asked questions, touched and enquired about how they could make it their own.
It was an incredible success and we loved meeting our customers in person and being able to answer their questions. We even got the opportunity to create some impromptu presentations for people on how to clean bronze, how bronze is made and how we create our bronze products.
