When we started Bronze Betty in 2020, we had awesome products and a vision but no idea how we were going to get from where we were to where we wanted to go.
We couldn't afford to create huge pieces and hope they sold, we had to start small, creating things our customers wanted and build from there.
We started off selling our products to people in Australia, we were not ready to sell internationally yet. We were still working out the kinks in every process, procedure and product we had created, opening ourselves to being a global business from day 1 sounded like it could be a recipe for disaster.
What would happen if someone ordered 200 of something and expected us to ship it to them in the USA in a reasonable timeframe? None of our processes could handle it.
Fast forward to 2023 and we have worked hard on our processes, procedures and products to allow for large volume orders, shipping and logistics, supply of metals, product creation and international shipping, taxes and duties.
In June 2023 we shipped our first product to Canada. The image at the top of this page is our founder Nathan Aherne holding a 1m long crocodile skull that we had created for a customer in Canada. They wanted to use it in the foyer of their financial services company.
I can only imagine the WOW their customers get walking into their building.
